Rebaone Community Care
Taking care of our futureThe care givers of these children drop them off in the morning at the centre where they are fed a nutritious breakfast and lunch daily. The children are also taught educational games such as basic numeracy to help develop their cognitive skills. It is also worth noting that the child minders are volunteers from the community.
Goldrush has contributed to the centre in the following ways:
• An outside room was built for the founder of the centre who opened his heart to these children and vacated his house for their benefit.
• Computers and chest freezers, stationery were purchased for the office for the day to day running of the centre.
• New gates and palisades were bought and installed to keep the home safe.
• Three new ablution facilities were built.
